From March 3rd to 6th, 2026, Rome will host the 9th edition of Italy Africa Business Week (IABW), the leading economic and trade forum dedicated to cooperation between Italy and Africa. The 2026 edition, entitled “Partnership for Sustainable Development”, is organised in collaboration with the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and the International Organization for Migration, in line with the UN 2030 Agenda and the African Union’s Agenda 2063.
IABW was created to promote economic, cultural and social partnerships based on a sustainable and inclusive development model. Over three days, companies, institutions, investors and civil society will meet to share strategies, innovation and best practices.
Key sectors include green economy, agribusiness, infrastructure, digitalisation, training, inclusion and sustainable mobility. The programme features round tables, thematic workshops, B2B and B3B meetings, a Startup & Innovation Hub and networking spaces. IABW 2026 is a concrete bridge between two continents and an opportunity to build the future of Italy–Africa cooperation together.
The event will take place from March 3 to March 6.
The opening day on March 3, as well as the following days (March 4, 5, and 6), will be held at a location that will be announced soon.
Participation in the sessions from March 4 to March 6 is free of charge, upon registration.
