EuroMediterranean cooperation between Tunisia and Italy

The promotion of the strengthening of the relations within the EuroMediterranean cooperation between Tunisia and Italy is the aim of a visit in Tunis of a working group of the  Camera Euromediterranea per l’Industria e l’Impresa [EuroMediterranean Chamber for Industry and Enterprise], led by president Badreddine Toukabri, and made by the secretary general Emanuele Caruso, the counsellors Fabio Armando Leuzzi, Michele Carratta, Paolo Pascarella and Luca Novembre.

The news is published by Camera Euromediterranea, with patronage of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean, stressing that the aim of the meetings in Tunis is “the organization of a technical table between promoting bodies of the opportunities in the Tunisian territory and the new Italian government”. The Camera Euromediterranea per l’Industria e l’Impresa – as written in a press release – already obtained the availability of (Tunisian agency for the promotion of investments) and of the Agency for the promotion of the free trade zone of Zarzis, and others, to take part to the event “Business opportunity” which will be held in Rome next 28 and 29 June.

For the Camera Euromediterranea the visit in Tunisia is important for the fact that the north African country is key to fight illegal immigration and also because Italy is interested to invest in Tunisia in projects which helps young persons in poor regions.
